Experience

A senior manager with over 45 years continuous service in Quality, Safety and Environmental Management, Project Management, Communication Electronics and Railway Command, Control and Signalling.

With extensive European and international rail sector industry experience as EU Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Technical Director, Quality & Safety Manager and ISO 9001:2000 Auditor, he is now acting as a Consultant to Herne European Consultancy Ltd, specialising in the provision of integrated quality, environmental and safety management systems to suit individual customer requirements.

As a published author with 36 titles on Engineering and Management (including a series of 16 on Quality Management) Ray is recognised as a leading expert in all aspects of Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering and Railway Signalling.
